4 Now Deborah, a prophet, the wife of Lappidoth, was leading[a ] Israel at that time. 5 She held court under the Palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, and the Israelites went up to her to have their disputes decided. 6 She sent for Barak son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali and said to him, “The Lord, the God of Israel, commands you: ‘Go, take with you ten thousand men of Naphtali and Zebulun and lead them up to Mount Tabor. 7 I will lead Sisera, the commander of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his troops to the Kishon River and give him into your hands.’”
8 Barak said to her, “If you go with me, I will go; but if you don’t go with me, I won’t go.”
9 “Certainly I will go with you,” said Deborah. “But because of the course you are taking, the honor will not be yours, for the Lord will deliver Sisera into the hands of a woman.” So Deborah went with Barak to Kedesh. 10 There Barak summoned Zebulun and Naphtali, and ten thousand men went up under his command. Deborah also went up with him.

About Wince Not Woman Ministries
we sought God diligently and fervently, all through the day and night. Finally, after 2 ½ years of a wilderness, spiritual desert experience our breakthrough came around 4:AM on a Thursday morning in the year 2001. I went to the bathroom. Upon returning to bed, I experienced a calmness that overshadowed me with great peace. I was carried away in the spirit to a beautiful green grassy meadow where I heard the voice of God. Unlike other times when the Holy Ghost would speak, this was so different. His voice was so gentle, indescribable, and comforting. His word to me are as follows: “Wince Not Woman, I have heard your cries and seen your tears, and have come to deliver you.” And deliver me He did. God is awesome in all His ways. He never called me by name. Just Woman, in a still, small voice.
After returning from a place of peace and tranquility, I found myself back on the side of my bed asking my husband if he had heard the voice that I had encountered. His answer was no. But I knew I had been delivered from the hovering black cloud that had haunted me over 2 ½ years. I began telling him of my wonderful journey with God how he had delivered and assured me things would work out in our favor. At this point, we were curious to find the definition of Wince. The definition of wince: to have an expression on your face for a short time which shows that you are embarrassed or in pain. To draw back from what is dangerous, fearsome, threatening, or unpleasant. Believe me, I was living every part of the definition of wince. In three day after God spoke to me great victory and total deliverance was ours! THUS, "WINCE NOT WOMAN" WAS ESTABLISHED!
