Shena is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Certified School Counselor (PRE K-12), Pastoral Marriage & Family Counselor and PrePare-Enrich Coach.

Shena provides a boutique private counseling practice that focuses on helping individuals and couples lay the foundation for thriving lives and healthy marriages.

Shena is an exceptional therapist with diverse experience counseling multi-ethnic individuals, teens, families, married and engaged couples. She is sought after for her results-oriented, emotionally focused approach which provides solutions for individuals and couples.

Shena is not your stereotypical passive therapist. She believes in a strengths-based approach, working in partnership with clients, utilizing their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals. She utilizes integrative modalities along with Christian principles and solution-focused techniques and therapies that produce long-term health by helping clients identify and resolve emotional and physical pain. Shena also works with each client in a non-judgmental way to determine their unique needs whether its marriage counseling, anxiety management, stress reduction, life coaching, trauma, or divorce recovery.

Shena realizes how important it is to identify all aspects of an individual's life that impacts their well-being including their physical health, support systems, workplace, school environment and faith in the process. Her theory is that when people have hope and can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs and attitudes, then they are free to experience change that puts them on the road to living more happier lives.
